Dr. Hanna Saltzman MD is a mother, writer, and pediatrician in Salt Lake City. Environmental health is both her passion and professional area of focus.

Dr. Hanna Saltzman writes personal essays, flash nonfiction, and advocacy pieces. Her writing has been published in literary magazines, medical journals, newspapers and blogs. Her essay “Halophilia” has been nominated for Best American Essays. She is also the author of the book, No White Coat Necessary: the Science of Everyday Health.
